Called "EmoXies", alluding to the "X" of the Luxembourg Signature, these emojis offer everyone the possibility to give a "Luxembourg" touch to their messages.
The EmoXies give you an insight into the Luxembourgish way of life and are grouped in themes, covering some of the most relevant topics related to the country: expressions, emotions, industries, culture, tourism, gastronomy, sports, transportation and animals. Using emoXi isn't just for all things digital - they can also be used in the printed world, audiovisual media, and much more. As long as you don't modify the emoxies or use them for commercial purposes, you are free to use them as you wish! Happy EMOXIE-ing!

WHY AND FOR WHOM?
The EMOXIES playfully reflect different facets of our beautiful country and give you an insight into the Luxembourgish way of life. The Luxembourgish emoji interpretation was developed as a participatory tool for individuals, institutions and other actors to use, apply and share.
They are fun to use and can easily be integrated into your communication, just as regular emojis.
The EMOXIES' use is not confined to the digital world alone, as other applications in print and audio-visual productions are both thinkable and welcome!
HAVE YOU GOT AN IDEA FOR AN EMOXIE?
The first set of EMOXIES covers a wide range of standard themes representative of Luxembourg. Nevertheless, we do not want to leave it at that, since our first set of EMOXIES and themes is non-exhaustive.
If you have a suggestion for an EMOXIE, that you think is both relevant and representative of Luxembourg, we are all ears! Private individuals may indeed submit their concept along with a first draft of its design via an e-mail. Your suggestion will be evaluated by the Inspiring Luxembourg committee. Please be aware that in case of a favorable decision, your design may be graphically altered to ensure a visual coherence with the existing EMOXIES.
SUBMISSION CRITERIA
RELEVANCE
The proposed theme must be closely connected to Luxembourg as a country with its very own past, present and future in order to inspire and serve the purpose of shining a positive spotlight on Luxembourg as a whole.
REPRESENTATIVENESS
Besides being relevant, the submitted theme should also be representative of Luxembourg, which means it should accurately reflect key aspects of Luxembourg, its people, culture or any other category.
NON-COMMERCIAL
Content used to commercialize, promote or advertise a product, service, business or brand will not be accepted. Thank you for your understanding.
NON-DISCRIMINATORY
Content operating or promoting discrimination on the grounds of age, religion, race, sex, gender or sexual orientation constitutes prohibited content.
