It's winter time. It's grey outside and the landscapes boast a white coat, and suddenly, the colour tells a story.
An opportunity for us to take notice of the beauty of winter's features and feel the charms of colour. A workshop will be held in the Regional Public Library of Dudelange to warm you up through drawing.

ART LX GOES MONTREAL

After Vienna, Berlin, Venice and Luxembourg, Art LX goes Montreal presents the work of Luxembourg artists who were invited for a residency at the Fonderie Darling in Montreal (Quebec) or who collaborated with the institution in one way or another. As part of the collective exhibition entitled "Buveurs de quintessences" (Drinkers of quintessences), CasinoLuxembourg invite all those who wish to find out more about residencies at the Fonderie Darling or the work of Luxembourgish artists who stayed there, to attend a presentation.

TOUR - TWELVE ANIMALS OR THE ART OF COUNTING TIME

According to legend, Emperor Huángdi invented the calendar in 2697 BC revolving around a sexagesimal cycle. Based on rather precise astronomical observations, the Chinese calendar is actually like an amazing tale in which the first Buddha, who invited twelve animals to take part in a race, lays the foundation for counting time. Twelve animals or the art of counting time: the story of the Chinese calendar by Mily Tasch in French on 20th January and in English on 27th January at the National Museum of History and Art.

GUTENBERG REVISITED

Let a qualified guide take you on a tour of the Gutenberg Revisited exhibition at the Kulturhuef Grevenmacher. The exhibition is on two floors and it was fully revised in 2018. It is the history of printing from the period before Gutenberg up until now, with a new technology and new objects. Also discover the impressive collection of historical machinery, the sound environment of which can be played just by pressing a button, and let the museum's maxim convince you: Print is alive. Print your own souvenir on a historical hand-press printer.
