Discover Unidentified Musical Objects

11-omni_hDo you like extraordinary artists and music? So what better than to combine the joys of summer with culture, as part of OMNI festival held each year against the backdrop of a breathtaking scenery!

For some years now, the OMNI Festival (Non identified musical objects) has been bringing together stars from the musical scene for an open-air music festival in the former Neumünster Abbey the Grund district, one of the quarters of Luxembourg City.

The OMNI festival, whose 2016 edition takes place between 11 and 23 July, appeals to the public with concerts by composers and performers from very different backgrounds — good times are guaranteed.

Artists perform on the forecourt of Neimënster, set against the impressive backdrop of the ruins of fortress of Luxembourg, listed as UNESCO World Heritage site.

The highlights of this year are going to be, among others:
• 11 July 2016: concert of the 'iguana', punk icon Iggy Pop;
• 12 July 2016: concert of exceptional guitarist Joe Bonamassa, a tribute to British Blues legends;
• 15 juillet 2016: concert show by drawing artist Tardi and singer Dominique Grange 'Putain de guerre!' (Bloody War!), a vigorous and uncomprising plea against war, destruction and massscres;
• 23 juillet 2016: concert by the National Jazz Orchestra Luxembourg, directed by David Laborier.

If this lineup rings your bell, then don't wait to discover the other acts!
