Discovering the passion of reading

During one week, children, families, school classes or other groups have the possibility of discovering the entirety of new releases in German at different booths, in one of the many reading corners or during authors' readings. School classes and groups are going to have to book their places, while young bookworms can freely explore the books availble at their heart's delight, every day between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Like every year, a public reading is organised every morning at 9h30 (except during the weekend). Pupils and teachers are warmly invited to come and listen to their favourite authors.  Jhemp Hoscheit (Den Eppes), Viviane Daman (Vacances au galop), Mady Dürrer (De Flöck), Christiane Kremer (D'Maisy an de Poli), Dany Gales (D'Minimaus) et Connie Faber (Zumpfs wundersame Entdeckung). Booking is mandatory!

Organised since 2001 by the National Literature Centre in Mersch, in cooperation with the initiative 'Freed um Liesen' (enjoying reading), the KIBUM, the largest non-comercial trade fair for children's books, is the Luxembourg version of the fair of the same name organied for the 38th year in the city of Oldenburg in Germany.
